Our Story

Why a travel blog started a gear shop

Adventurist Supply Co. started the way most good ideas do — with a problem, in the heat, in a line.

We're the team behind The Adventurist's Log, where we cover theme parks, cruises, and family travel. Spend enough years walking eight miles a day through Florida summers and you develop strong opinions about gear: which neck fan actually lasts a full park day, which poncho survives more than one storm, which packing cubes actually compress, and which "viral" gadgets are junk with good lighting.

Friends kept asking for our packing lists. Then readers did. Then we realized the same thinking — what actually works when it matters? — applies to way more than trip days. The kitchen drawer. The car console. The dog. The junk-drawer cable pile. Everyday life is the adventure; most gear just isn't up to it.

The Four Gates

Every product we stock has to pass four tests before it earns a spot:

If an item stops earning its spot, we pull it. Simple as that.

The fine print, in plain English

We're an independent small business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any theme park, resort, or entertainment company — we're fans and travelers, same as you.

Questions? Ideas? Found something clever we should test? We'd genuinely love to hear it — reach us anytime through the links in the footer.
